Departmental Printers

Shared laser printers are available to all members and guests of the department. Both printers have duplexing units and are fully supported by GS-ITS. If you have any problems with the printers, come by our office, next door in S250A.

Adding Departmental Printers to Your System
If you're using a personal system or some other system we do not support, check out our guides for adding printers to Mac OS X and Windows XP. If you're using a GS-ITS maintained system, the departmental printers should already be installed. If they're not or you're running into problems, let us know and we'll take care of it.

Poster Printing

Poster printing is only available to Genome Sciences department members. We recommend submitting your poster two full business days prior to your deadline, otherwise we cannot guarantee it will be ready. Although many posters can be printed quickly, some posters take additional time. Using a white or light background will decrease printing time and save ink. Send posters to gsithelp [at] u.washington.edu as an attachment. Please include your deadline and any special instructions in the message.
